DDR4 kits (G.Skill Trident Z Royal DDR4-4000, Corsair Vengeance LPX and others) remain a strong value choice for older platforms. For the full Chinese-language ladder with DDR4, laptop and server memory, see the 内存天梯图.
How to read the ranking
- Higher frequency (e.g. DDR5-8800 vs DDR5-6000) means more bandwidth for gaming and content creation.
- Lower timings (CAS latency) improve latency-sensitive tasks; tight timings at high frequency are the hardest to achieve.
- Capacity matters for productivity — 32GB kits are the 2026 sweet spot for most builders.
